Product Development HealthChecks

Product Development or Service Innovation Health Checks are not a test but are designed to indicate to management how its company practices rate against both peer companies and world best practice; and to provide management with recommendations on priority actions for improvement and types of action to be taken.

We offer different versions of the health check - from the basic format designed originally for Time to Market Association® network members to detailed and fully customised diagnostic versions depending on the size and type of organisation

Factors Measured

All health checks cover a minimum of both practice and performance elements.
These can be augmented to meet client requirements or to address particular issues and concerns.
For example typical questions such as:

"how efficient are my technical development guys?"

"are we getting value for money from our r&D spend?"  or

"I can't measure r&D performance so what metrics/dashboard should we be using"

can be addressed as part of the healthcheck.

Healthcheck Process

The healthcheck consists of a combination of a Questionnaire, a site  visit or multiple site visits accompanied by off-line interviews depending on the scope and size of an organisation.
For SMEs a site visit is usually sufficent.
